Stafford Rd Wine Bar

The idea for Stafford Road Wine Bar was born from travels to Europe and the United States in the 1990s where it was quite common to have both specialist wine retailer and wine bar operating under the same roof. It was at the turn of the century when Simon and Jacquie Mackenzie began work at Point Wines and first discussed the concept. However, it wasn’t until when Simon purchased Point Wines in 2007 that he was in a position to realise his dream. Stafford Road Wine Bar opened its doors on Monday, November 16th 2009 and an institution was born.
