Judokwai is New Zealand’s first and oldest Judo Club. Established in 1948, the club has played a central role in the history of Judo in New Zealand and we have produced many of our most successful Judoka. Our focus is Olympic Judo, but we also hold to our tradition and roots in the practice and discipline of Judo as a martial art, form of self-defence, and system of education. Our club is centrally located at 68 Hillside Rd in Glenfield on Auckland’s North Shore. Judokwai is dedicated to making it easy for people of all ages to play Judo and make it a lifetime passion. New members and visitors are welcome.
